« Forbrain is a tool that, wires or re-wires the brain for more efficient verbal production through improved processing of sound. »
I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 35 years and use a wide range of tools with my patients to improve their particular outcomes. I was recently introduced to Forbrain, and have been using it with my patients ever since. We have all been delighted with the results. I am using it with patients from 7 years old to 70+ years of age and am seeing improved articulation and verbal production throughout. I am using it with patients who have a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to, Down Syndrome, Parkinson, Autism, Asperger's, VPI, Attention Deficit Disorder and various syndromes that interfere with communication skills. I see increased clarity of speech as well as improved prosodic elements (inflection, tempo and rhythm), both in the moment while wearing it and over time as they use it daily. I'm also seeing outcome that can be attributed to better communication skills such as increased confidence, reduced anxiety in settings that require speech production and increased initiation and extension of interaction via verbal communication.
I believe, and I trust research will bear out, that Forbrain is a tool that, with consistent use, wires or re-wires the brain for more efficient verbal production through improved processing of sound, most particularly, speech sounds.
